GHK-Cu
⚠️ FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY — NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Intended solely for in vitro research and laboratory use.
GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine-Copper) is a naturally occurring tripeptide-copper complex first identified in human plasma. The copper ion serves as a cofactor for lysyl oxidase and lysyl hydroxylase — enzymes critical for collagen cross-linking and stability.
Research has shown GHK-Cu to stimulate fibroblast proliferation, enhance collagen and elastin synthesis, improve angiogenesis, and modulate gene expression — upregulating tissue-repair pathways while downregulating inflammatory and fibrotic ones. Animal studies have reported accelerated wound closure (40–50%) and increased extracellular matrix accumulation.
